Almost overnight, the world changes into a cobweb-strewn shrine to fear. Normal places are suddenly teeming with ghosts, ghouls, and monsters. 

But hidden behind the fake props are real scares! Be they actual ghosts or people in costumes, Halloween can be a frightening and magical time!

The Sweetest Scares is a game about people trying to get through a gauntlet of Halloween terror while exploring strange or unknown locations. 

This game is designed to capture the fun and silly side of Halloween, So it is perfect for players who love Halloween but are not fans of horror. 

Rather than rolling dice, The Sweetest Scares is played with actual Halloween candy! 

Whenever players encounter a problem, they'll reach into the bowl of candy and try to pull out as many Treats as possible, while avoiding the evil Tricks! 

What's New In V2?

For 2020 The Sweetest Scares has received a massive overhaul! Sweetest Scares V2 massively expands the game and its mechanics. 

It also takes the game out of its original Haunted House setting, allowing GMs to use it to tell any Halloween adventure they wish!

And it comes with new art and new layout details!
